Targeted Product Support
Overcoming specific issues
Not every engagement needs a fractional CPO or a full function rebuild. Sometimes there's one specific question holding things up, and what you need is focused, senior attention on it rather than an open-ended commitment.
This is bounded work with a clear question, an agreed scope, and a useful output at the end. It might be a few days or a few weeks, depending on what the problem actually needs. The point is to make real progress on something specific rather than letting it sit unresolved.
Some examples
A high-stakes decision where several options are genuinely viable and the consequences matter
A roadmap, investment plan, or set of competing initiatives that's lost focus and coherence
A complex trade-off that can't be resolved in a single meeting or workshop
Unclear ownership or decision-making that's slowing the product organisation down
A product organisation, its processes, and its metrics needing to stand up to diligence ahead of a sale or investment
A product or innovation direction that needs testing, refining, or rebuilding confidence in
A narrative for executives, the board, or investors that needs to be clear and defensible
If you need help with a specific issue
How it works
I start by agreeing the specific question and what a good outcome looks like. If you need a diagnostic first, that can be the first part of the engagement.
From there I shape the right piece of work: some analysis, some working sessions, whatever the problem needs. It stays deliberately scoped, so the effort stays pointed at the decision you're trying to make rather than drifting into something open-ended.
What you get
A clear, agreed question and what success looks like
Focused analysis and working sessions, sized to the problem
Options and trade-offs set out plainly
A defensible recommendation and clear next steps
A written summary where it's useful for communicating and following through
